Alberta Municipal Affairs is conducting a survey to acquire feedback regarding specific technical details for the regulations that will support the New Home Buyers Act. The online survey includes questions specific to the private sewage systems installed for new homes in rural areas.

It has been proposed that private sewage systems should be included by new home warranties in addition to the plumbing, electrical and heating systems which are covered under delivery and distribution systems.
