The AOWMA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Angus Chu and Mr. Jim Quantz to the Board.

Their appointments were ratified by the Board during the AOWMA Board Strategic Planning retreat held in Edmonton on June 22, 2012. The two were selected among several high-calibre applicants whose names were brought forward by members as part of a nomination process launched earlier this year to replace vacated board members Bruce Gray and Michael Insole.

Dr. Angus Chu is Associate Professor in the Engineering for Environment Program at the University of Calgary. He is also a former board member and one of the current academic instructors for the AOWMA installer training program.

Mr. Quantz is an installer from the Didsbury area. He has been a member for three years and has life-long experience in the Alberta onsite industry.

These appointments will be in place until the 2013 Annual General Meeting at which time their positions will be up for election.

The AOWMA appreciates the willingness of all the nominees who put their name forward in efforts to continue the progress and success of the AOWMA.
