The Alberta Standard of Practice is reviewed and updated every five years. The current ABSOP has been in effect for two years now and the Private Sewage Working Group is beginning to review the Standard to determine if any updates or changes are needed.

Installers and designers working with the 2015 AB Standard of Practice are invited to submit suggestions for improvement or change to the Private Sewage Working Group (PSWG). Suggestions for change will be tabled at a PSWG meeting for discussion and consideration for inclusion in the 2020 Standard of Practice.
