Convention 2019
The 2019 Convention and Trade Show was very successful, with 328 people flowing through the event over the course of three days.
The workshops were very well attended, as delegates were able to participate in Vac Truck Technician training and Basic Confined Space Entry. Sessions on soils, nutrient management, water softener effluent and basic onsite wastewater problems and solutions were well received as were sessions on marketing, industry certifications and regulatory updates.
Once again, the AOWMA hosted a beer and food pairing event in the trade show hall. Thank you to Troubled Monk, Blind Man Brewing, Freehold Brewing, Ribstone Creek Brewery, Snake Lake Brewery and Siding 14 Brewing Company for hosting beer tasting stations for our delegates. It was a great shared promotional event that supports local industry and our membership!
