Join us at the last Site and Soils Evaluation Day that the AOWMA will be hosting in 2012. Take this opportunity to get some hands-on experience digging and evaluating soils. An AOWMA trainer will be present onsite and will first explain and demonstrate the steps of soils evaluation after which all participants will have a chance to get into a test pit and get their hands dirty examining the site’s soil. Students will take home sample bags of soil and lab results will be provided to determine the exact composition of the soil horizons.

This is a great opportunity for both experienced and inexperienced wastewater professionals to check out the soils at a site they\’ve never seen before and get their questions answered by an AOWMA trainer.
