Alberta Municipal Affairs has issued a Province wide variance for At-Grade Systems.  This is a variance allowing the option to select this alternative design, referred to as the LFH At-grade system, as the final treatment and dispersal system in a private sewage system that is subject to the requirements set out in the Alberta Private Sewage Systems Standard of Practice 2009 (Standard of Practice).
