The Alberta Common Ground Alliance (ABCGA) is working in concert with Alberta One-Call to proclaim the month of April as SAFE DIGGING MONTH in the province of Alberta. This initiative has gained support from the Provincial Government and will be brought to the floor of the legislature in April 2013, the National Energy Board, the Energy Resources Conservation Board, the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety and many of the industry partners involved with the buried infrastructure in the province of Alberta.

The attached declaration demonstrates AOWMA’s support of this important initiative and the recognition of the month of April as SAFE DIGGING MONTH.
